Since the snow has melted, I have become disgusted with the amount of dog owners that allow their dogs to pee and poop on our common property! It is just so gross, why are dog owners so lazy!! I am watching for you and will report you, I do not want my little girl to be walking and step/fall/touch your dogs poop because your too lazy to be responsible! Has anyone looked on the 162nd street side of 2000? Someone has been filling grocery bags with what looks like dog poop and throwing the bags on the ground on both sides of the fence.... WOW! That is gross! I really wish the "PIGS" in this complex with dogs would smarten up!! How would you like my daughters poopy diapers sitting open on your balcony/patio or other common property?

Apparently some residents here have not signed on to the UN's international treaty banning land mines, what a shame. And what is it with the morons who thinks it's ok to leave little pink or blue bags of dog excrement laying all over the place. I was not aware people this stupid and/or ignorant existed. I think it is time for if not an outright ban of dogs then at least a one strike and your dog is booted out for good rule.

I know that the board, if they have enough complaints/evidence, can have the animals in question removed. I like the idea of banning dogs too... most of these units are to small for a dog anyway.

Over at Evergreen West we have just banned dogs due to this issue, it's unfortunate for the responsible pet owners to have things ruined by the few.

I've only been living in Bridlecrest Pointe for a couple of days and I've already seen 3 people walk their dog five steps outside the door, drop a bomb, then go back inside. Luckily it wasn't in front of my building.

I fully support a dog ban. I know it's probably not the majority but sorry, the disgusting minority just ruined it for everyone.

It's not a decision the board at Evergreen west took lightly but after numerous incidents (including some inside, gross I know) those few ruined it for everyone. I thought Bridlewood was stopping people taking their dogs out of main entrances to avoid this?

I doubt we would enact a dog ban at this location. We other tools to deal with the situation that you don't have to Evergreen.

As for the comments about dogs through the main doors, that has worked fairly well but they still take them out the side doors of course. The centre court area has stayed rather clean this winter (expect for the rabbits). Overall the situation is somewhat better than last year but there will always be some that don't care.
